In the run up to the movie Hoopa & The Clash of Ages, Japanese variety show is showing a few special shorts featuring Hoopa. In these, Hoopa uses its portals to bring various Pokémon to show Ash and Pikachu and hijinks ensue

Hoopa's Appear Plan Short 1
- Ash is in a flying suit on a hill with his Pikachu.
- Hoopa brings some Fletchling through a portal.
- Ash jumps off the cliff and the Fletchling use gust on him.
- Hoopa brings lots of different Flying Type Pokemon through another portal.
- One of the Pokemon is a Therian Form Tornadus.

- Ash and Pikachu are in an opening area in a forest.
- Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on Hoopa.

- Ash and Pikachu are lying on a grassy hill at night, looking at the stars.
- Hoopa uses its portals to brings multiple shooting starts to fly through the sky.
- Hoopa accidentally brings a giant Staryu crashing towards the ground, where Ash and Pikachu are.
- Ash and Pikachu dodge the giant Staryu.
- The smoke from the explosion of the crash covers Hoopa.

I looove Rie Kugimiya <3 Her voice is so adorable and totally fits Hoopa's mischievous character.

Hoopa's Appear Plans! Short 6
- Ash and Pikachu are in a dark cave.
- Hoopa throws one of it's rings and uses it as a portal to bring multiple Litwick through.
- The Litwick encircle Ash and Pikachu, to provide them with some light.
- They all notice that that a Noivern and a bunch of Noibat are right in front of them.
- Ash and Pikachu run out of the cave, scared.

Let's go to the beach, each.
I've only watched the cave one thus far, but it was hilarious. Just seeing Hoopa summon a ton of Litwick as a light source and Ash being chased out of the cave by the cave-dwelling Pokemon was cute.

These Hoopa segments did a good job of making the eighteenth movie seem fun, yet they seemed almost like a glimpse at the anime's future as well since the kind of slapstick comedy and insane scenarios in these shorts seem so much like what the SM saga is like.
