How am I supposed to 'catch them all'?

Ok, from what I've read there is no GBA remake of GSC, but the national pokedex supports those pokemon....

So how am I supposed to catch those pokemon without using something like a gameshark?

You can get them from Colosseum, XD, FireRed/LeafGreen and Emerald for the most part.

So you CAN catch them all, you just have to buy several Pokemon games.

Trade,catch the ones that are available at your version,evolve,train,(go to events) and use a codebreaker ONLY for legendaries which you can't find them(that's an advice for protection)...in the and you will catch them all...

Err... no. You can't trade from G/S/C to Ru/Sa/Em (or any other third-gen game).

They're all there, but spread out.

Yeah, the only Pokémon Game(s) i have Johto Pokémon in are Crystal and Gold.

I completed the pokedex on ruby, the game time said 250 hours but that is because I traded them over from other games and I had most of them on the other games. Still had to evolve them mind you.

LOL I agree with that completely, because you have to end up trading over pokemon attached with evolution stones which you will have to buy. Also the pokeballs cost a hell of alot in the end.

Untrue. People seem to forget that Celebi was available on the Japanese pre-order disk of Pokemon Colosseum, and was also given away at Journey Across America for the 10th anniversary. I'm sure you'd be able to get one off GTS in D/P.

well technically you cant "catch " them all, but get them by trading and nintendo events.. thats the only LEgit way..
