How are the screen protectors?

Do screen protectors leave a sticky visible residue if you take them off? I've had screen protectors for the SP, but turns out the sticky residue was a huge problem. Do Hori screen protectors leave the residue? And are they screen protectors reusable? Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of getting Hori screen protectors, and want to know whether or not they are useable.

I don't really like screen protectors...

They're a waste of plastic.

You don't need them, all you have to do is be careful.

That's the problem, you see sometimes I play Mario Kart with friends, and about 1-2 friends don't have DSs, so sometimes being the nice person I am I share, and though they might end up making the screen dirty. I know it's not their fault, so I'm thinking of getting the screen protector as a precaution.

My friend has screen protectors for his ds, he says that I should get some, but I don't want any.

No, do yourself a favour and don't waste money on screen protectors. They make huge air bubbles which get in the way during play. Not only that, but if you're putting on and just a spec of dust or dirt get under while you are, it will be clearly visible and very annoying. And when you take them off, they are bombarded with dust all over them, and can't be used again. Just be careful with your screens.
