I've been playing Pokemon for a long time, but one of the weirdest things I've ever seen regarding level-up moves is Mr. Mime learning Magical Leaf.

Granted, Mr. Mime may be "magical", but Magical Leaf? Just a little too weird for me.

Any of you seen a Pokemon that can learn a level-up move that makes you say, "But.....how?"?

A good question, like how Wingull can learn Shock Wave. But let's try to stay with weird level-up moves.

PDL

disenchanted
Dewgong and Signal Beam... what the hell?

I've seen wierder. bannette with screech? but the pokedex data says if it opens its mouth, the evil spirit leaves it and it dies? perhaps it screeches out its nose.

and in GSC, lance's aerodactyl had rock slide, even though rock slide was impossible to get on it. lance is a sharker.

Azumarill learns Magical Leaf... wtf?

Azumarill can't learn Magical Leaf but Kirlia, Cleffa, and the ones mentioned above can which I think is odd.

Also how can Dugtrio learn Slash?

how can a butterfree learn harden? infact beedrill, dustox and beautifly as well. A butterfly, moth or wasps using harden is just weird.....

Charizard with metal claw! it's arms are so tiny!

I also wonder how Aron learns Iron Tail when it doesn't have a tail! (Same goes with Lairon as well I think).

I'm surprised that so many non Electric Pokemon can learn Shock Wave and so many non Flying Pokemon can learn Aerial Ace.

I am very surprised at the fact of Sharpedo learning slash- what is he going to slash with, his half-drawn shark body?

O Fortuna

Velut luna.
Well, Rhyhorn learns Tail Whip and it too has no tail. Still, I think the most bizarre one has to be Dewgong learning Signal Beam. That doesn't even make a lick of sense.

Aerial Ace doesn't mean that the pokemon has to fly. Blaziken is fast, so it'll work.

like dugtrio, which seems to be embedded in the ground.

also, though this isn't as odd, togetic has acess to softboiled.

I love Dara <3
I'm confused about Volbeat using Thunder or Shock Wave or Thunderbolt. I'm also confused about Quilava and Cyndaquil using Crush claw

Maybe somebody at GameFreak was using an entirely different sort of magical leaf at the time? :)
