I need to know how to purify Shadow Lugia...

i know how to use the Purify chamber but i need to know if the tempo has to be filled with one of the sections or all of them? My Party is:

Zaptos
Articuno
Moltres
Ho-oh
Deoxys
S- Lugia.

Ok, you will have to have best circles in all 9 purification chambers, which basically means that every chamber will need to be at max tempo. Then, just put Shadow Lugia in any one of the chambers, and it should be automatically purified. Of course, you will need to do this in person at the Orre Labratory Purification Chamber.

Best circles as in super effective. Each chamber must have four regular Pokémon where their types clash in super effectiveness as if they were in battle.

Example: Raichu --> Pidgeot --> Oddish --> Dugtrio. Where Dugtrio is conveniently facing Raichu by arrows.
This is just one example, as you can form many combinations for all nine sets.

When you have done that, the temp must be at max as Stardust25 mentioned. After that is done, you may put shadow Lugia into ANY one of the chambers as long as there is free space in them. There can be no other shadows in the middle for other chambers or there be some, it doesn't really matter to purifying Lugia in an instant.

You get rewarded verbally by Prof. Krane and your mother, and many more. :]

There needs to be a sticky about this / Purify Chamber, methinks. Or did you try http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=87525 yet?

Well, here are a couple more examples of Pokémon that will make best circles. It really isn't too hard to make a best circle. Considering that a lot of Pokémon have dual types, that gives you a lot of wiggle room. You can always play around with the circles a little bit, and you should be able to come up with something. But anyways, here are some more examples... Ground, Fire, Grass, Water will make a good best circle. Try to get a couple of best circles using those types. (Example: Baltoy, Growlithe, Roselia Golduck)

Ground, Electric, Flying, Grass is another good choice. (Marowak, Ampharos, Pidgeotto, Weepinbell)

You can also try Psychic, Fighting, Dark, Ghost. (Hypno, Makuhita, Carvanha, Banette)

Fire/Ice/Grass/Rock

Fighting/Steel/Ice/Flying

Electric/Water/Ground/Poison

Poison/Grass/Water/Ground

There are lots of combination that will work, many more than I have listed here. Just remember not to use pure Normal types (Part Normal types will be ok though) when forming a best circle, as they don't have any type advantages.

EDIT: Fixed last set.

Electric/Water/Ground/Poison

Poison/Grass/Water/Fire Umm, fire isn't super effective against poison

So anyways, to contribute, you could always catch a ton of Hoppips, as suggested by the main site.

Take 4 Normal types that are purified and for some strange reason max out the tempo for that set

Ex:

Zangoose>Kanghaskan>Chansey>Snorlax

The easiest way if your missing a few SETS I found it to capture a bunch of HOPIP. Four HOPIP = Max tempo

OK thanks would it work if i use all circles as hophips?

Absolutely. Hoppips are Grass/Flying types, and the Flying type is super effective against the Grass type, so you can use all of the Hoppips that you want to make as many best circles as you want.
