How do I get to Island one?

How am I supposed to get to Island one? I want to trade to Emerald, but I cant get to Island one. I already beat Blaine..

Beat Blaine, get out of the gym, and Bill should be waiting there, but you can't trade with Emerald until you beat the E4 and fix the network machine

Go to the port in Vermillion city. This is the only way to go back to the Islands and you'll need that later.

To be able to trade with Emerald you will need to beat the elite four, get the national pokedex from prof. Oak, and get the Ruby and Sapphire stones from the Sevii islands.

Go to Vermilion, in the port there is a man who ask you where do you want to go, then select the island.
And for Emerald, you must defeat the Elite 4, get the national dex and do a simple quest to repair the machine.
