how do I trade LG or FR with Ruby?

Beat the game. Get national dex. Which means you must catch 60 pokemon.

You need to get the Ruby and the Sapphire items and fix Celio's Network machine. You start by finding the Ruby on One Island inside Mt.Ember where the TR grunts are.

Yep. Both National Dex and Network Machine, since you won't unlock the island quest to actually fix the machine unless you have the National Dex.

I'm not trying to gloat but I did it already. I can trade with Emerald but not Ruby.

Then..that's wierd. You should already be able to trade with Ruby..

maybe there's something wrong with your ruby game? or, i'm not sure this would affect it or not but, are your fr/lg and ruby from the same region? like are they both american versions of the game, because if they're not then that might be what's giving you problems...

Are you using the Leaf Green Link Adapter thingie?

You have to use A Link Cable for Ruby & Sapphire.

yes, to trade between fr/lg and ruby/sapphire you need the cable. think only emerald can trade with fr/lg using the wireless adapter thing...
