How do pokemon rangers

I know pokemon rangers use the capture styler to capture pokemon but how do they release their pokemon for a pokemon battle?, Pokemon trainer use pokeballs to capture and release their pokemon but what about pokemon rangers??,

The Pokemon just follow the ranger after being fully-circled with the stylus.
The Pokemon are released when they're used (either in-field or in-battle)

I can't think of a better term, although I suppose another way to say it loosely would be "wrangling" them, sort of like a cowboy, except they're released after they've been used.

There's a limit, of course, and no, Hinata/Kazu (if Kazu is the male Ranger's name) do not battle.

They kinda wrangle the Pokemon using the ones they already have (which have different abilities that help you 'catch' them), or just circle them repeately with the stylus without breaking the line.

I've never seen the rangers battle in the anime. One or two earlier on, but not the ones from this game. I could be wrong though. I've missed the Battle Frontier series so far.

Erm, Pokemon Rangers do battle. Just not these ones. Play R/S/E around Fortree City and see for yourself.

In the GAME, you use the stylus to capture PokeMon that have attacked you. Now, in the ANIME, the PokeMon rangers do battle, but I don't believe the ones from the game PokeMon ranger have appeared (at least, I haven't seen them yet). And in R/S/E, you battle against a few PokeMon rangers. Does that answer the questions?

what??i thought they did well thats a let down...but i'm still going to get the game..
but how do you save the nature or whatever you goal is??
but i don't think you'll need to realese them i think the become your friends and follow you when you need their help.

After you capture the pokemon with the styler it just leaves after you use it either to help you capture another pokemon or use it to get an obstacle out of the way.
