You mean nature? If so go to the main site and look in game mechanics, then in the nature box.

No, he means the number that tells how much a Pokemon likes you. They had it at Pokefor, but that was before the site was shut down.

No, he means the thing that changes a wurmple into silcoon or cascoon.

If he wanted to know how much a pokemon liked him, he could easily go to Verdanturf or Pallet and talk to Daisy or the woman in the house in Verdanturf.

yeah I meant the value that determines what your wurmple will evolve into. The pokedex said 'personality value' so thats why I used that term.

Anyway, I looked at the game mechanics page last night, but I could find the answer...

There was already a thread like this awhile back.
TRJessie579 said that it is impossible to make a Wurmple evolve into what you want it to.
It evolves into the pokemon it evolves into.
There's no say at what it's gonna evolve into.

I'd say catch a silcoon and then a cascoon,works for me.

Unfortunately, not even Pokefor knew the answer to this one. Wurmple's evolution is based on some kind of hidden value in the game, though we're not sure whether it's their gender value, etc. Either way, there's no way to influence what evolution you'll get with Wurmple, since whatever the answer is, it'll involve a hidden value in the game that can't be changed.

I personally think that a bit of code along with a Wurmple's gender value influences. I've noticed that in my Sapphire(or was it my Ruby), female Wurmples evolve into Dustox or Beautifly more often than male ones do, while in Ruby(or was it Sapphire) it was the other way around. I remember experimenting on it but I'm not sure.

I'd say it has to do with IV's.
i was playing Ruby,and doing a mono bug type team.
I noticed that when i trained a wurmple to level 7 the stats were this before it evolved into a Silcoon.
WurmpleLv.6
Hp:22
Attack:11
Defence:11
Sp. Atk:8
Sp. Def:7
Speed:8
But when it got to Level 7 it had these stats
WurmpleLv.7(right before evolution)
Hp:24
Atk:12
Def:12
Sp.Atk:8
Sp.Def:8
Speed:9
I caught another wurmple and it had these stats
WurmpleLv.6
Hp:22
Atk:11
Def:11
Sp.Atk:8
Sp.Def:9
Speed:8
This one evolved into Cascoon
I caught two more Wurmple
and it had two different kind of Iv's(Like above)
and they evolved into Cascoon&Silcoon.

My point is...
that Wurmple evolves into Cascoon/Silcoon based on the IV's of the Wurmple.
Test it yourself,it works for me.

But its totally random what I do is what mantine god said catch a Silcoon and a cascoon.
