R Raziel Lively up yourself Dec 6, 2005 #4 http://virtualdub.org/ There's the answer: Virtual Dub. You can capture images from .avi files with that program. It's very useful for other purposes too, like compressing video and stuff. Once you get the images, just animate them with a gif animator.
