Hi. I'm new here so sorry if this is in the wrong section or something. but if you go to smogon.com and click on a pokemon kyogre for example, it shows its max and min. stats. like its max def is 279 and its min def is 216. how do you get it so it will have max stats? i caught my kyogre at lvl 40, drugged it up until it was maxed out, and manually lvled it up to 100 and its stats are sooooo low. at lvl 100, its stats are 353 hp, 245 att, 218 def, 223 spd, 340 spatt, and 356 spdef. those stats seem really low compared to the max stats given on smogon and i never used rare candy on it or anything. how do you get it to have higher stats?

First, having a good nature is important, so is EV training, but each Pokemon has different Ivs which really are the things that determine how good your final stats will become. I'm guessing your Kyogre has bad Ivs.

You can't get "max stats" per se, because a completely max stat has perfect IVs and full EVs. You can't completely EV-train all 6 stats, the most you can max out is 2.

You can get detailed information on training Pokemon, including info on IVs and EVs, here:

http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/pokemon_rs_trainer.txt

You'll have to copy/paste the shortcut since it's GameFAQs.

Easy, you just fight a Pokemon which gives the neccesary EVs. Like fainting a Poochyena gives you 1 Attack EV, fainting a Whismur gives you 1 HP EV, etc. They can go up to a max of 252 per stat, and you can have a total of 510 EVs.

You can check which Pokemon give what EVs on the main site.

so if i just faint a zubat, my ev for speed will go up regardless of whether i lvl up or not? and isnt using drugs like protein and hp up the same thing as ev training?

You get the EVs when you earn the experience of that Pokemon, and the EVs are added up when you gain a level.

Each of the drugs give 10 EVs to their respective stat. But any of them can only go up to a max of 100 EVs.
