Also the Manaphy's egg is from an event so you just can't get it from beating the game.

Why would even think that you can trade in ranger? Pokemon Rangers use the styler to temporarily get pokemon to help them on their travels. They don't catch and keep them.

^ You cannot trade ANYTHING at all with any game with Ranger. You can only transfer the Manaphy egg to either Diamond or Pearl (once only).
