How high is the pokedex gonna go?

I heard that 80-90% were going to be given evo/pre evos....does that mean the pokedex will go up to,like, 700?
how many pokemon will there really be?

80-90 is a to high of a number...and nobody really knows of this for sure..so nobody can really guess how many pokemon are gonna be in the pokedex

When it says 90% of pkmn evolve, that doesn't equal 700ish or whatever, alot of pkmn evolve at least once, so that could be it.

Roselia is an example of a one stage pkmn becoming a second stage, it's those sorta pkmn that are likely to gain pre-evos/evos

So that's about 30ish pkmn roughly out of the 386 obtainable? That could gain forms this gen

I think that the pokedex will go over 500, but not to something 525... That seems too werid a number to stop at so we may get a whole 150... we can only hope I guess!

Probably the lower 500s, I doubt it'll go above 530.

That 80-90% of pokemon that evolve is for the areas dex not the national dex. So if they only have 200 pokemon avaible to catch you'll have 160-180 pokemon that evolve or are evoloutions. The 2 lengendaries and the trio take out 5. They may have a runner type legendary or 2. So right there you have about 9 that will not evolve.

We got around 130 last gen, and were on 386 right now, so mid 500s isn't such an impossibilty...
