• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

How long u played to get HooH in colo?

I'm not entirely sure. I had my time maxed out when I got around 40 Pokemon Purified, so it was past the 100 hour mark. But I know Mt.Battle didn't take that long, considering I got my two level 100's from Ruby and swept half of it.
And to answer your other question, no. You get it delivered to your PC on your main game, and the Mt.Battle you have to do is in Battle mode. So, you have to start another game and do it all over again.

Don't remember how long it was the first time around. Right now, I'm at 30 hours and have about 14 more shinies to purify.

Come again? o_o

What's taking everyone so long to purify their guys? I think I was around 50 hours when I got Ho-Oh. Too bad I was disappointed to the lack of being able to nickname it -.- (Still got it to 100 the first day I had it)

I write all of my major events in my pokemon games down, for future reference such as now, and according to my notes...I played for 32 hours straight going to the bathroom only 12 times, drank 54 sunkists, ate 4 bags of cheetos, 2 bags of Ruffles sour cream & onion, drank 5 cans of Root beer ( I saved for the Ho-oh battle), 24 Hotdogs, 15 Hamburgers, 7 salami sandwiches ( also saved for ho-oh battle ), and 1 bowl of Beef stew. I used 2 pokeballs to catch Ho-oh and the battle only lasted for 23.6 seconds. Yep, all for Ho-oh who is currently sitting on my Pokemon Box Memory Card waiting for the day that It will be downloaded to pokemon Diamond...muhahahaha

I menat to say Pokemon! Brain fart :p. Sorry.

Anyways, after beating the main game, it really only took me a few hours to beat Mt. Battle and get Ho-oh. That's the first time through.

It has to be from Colosseum. But if you want to use outside Pokemon, you could always trade them into the Story Mode.

Anyways, on-topic, I had to blow through the Mt. Battle challenge to get a Ho-Oh in time for JAA... >>; So I went through Mt. Battle once in about two days (playing probably around 8 hours total), then realized too late I needed to purify more Pokemon in Story Mode. So I went back the next day, purified madly (another 4 hours, probably), then went through Mt. Battle again the third day in some mind-numbing playing spree of another 8 hours to get Ho-Oh.

...And I seriously cannot comprehend how you people can go through Mt. Battle in under 2 hours. Seriously. >>; That's scary...

Do I have to play in Mt. Battle the whole way without stopping or suspending data to get Ho-oh? I'm only done the first 10 battles and I suspended the data.

You can suspend as often as you like. Just as long as you play through Battle Mode's Mount Battle completely within the allotted number of continues, you should get your Ho-Oh.

You could trade over your GBA team to Colosseum.
