How lucky are you?

Here, you can post incidents in which you were very lucky. Currently I have two in emerald:

1) When I fought groudon, I used at least 10 ultra balls when it was in the red health and asleep from rest. None of them came close. Then I remembered that my friend had caught his Rayquaza in sapphire with a dive ball and I happened to have one, so I thought, "what the heck...." I tossed it, it shook three times, and stopped. I have a picture for proof, but I have to upload it to here.

2) After beating the E4, I chose Latios to go and hunt down. (This was before I had gone after Groudon.) I wanted to find a Relicanth to unlock the Regi's, so I went to Mossdeep, and surfed to the nearest dive spot where relicanth could be found. On my way there, I found my first wild Pokemon after beating the E4. And it was none other than... you guessed it, Latios! Of course, with my occasional bad luck, I was totally unprepared so I just tried to throw an ultra ball to catch it. It didn't even shake, and it ran away..... (stupid me..... )

Well? How lucky are you?

i found a shiny ralts as my first encounter when i decided to hunt one lol

oh, and i found two shiny chansey in the safari zone in a row, first time i failed, second time i caught it ^^

okay in emerald no matter what whenever i tried to catch kyogre it would break out when it had 1 hp left, then it would KO itself with double edge, then i got mad and decided to throw net balls no matter what happened, and i caught it with about 7/8 hp. it hurt itself with double edge and whittled it down to 7/8 hp. i don't think these two is lucky but:

1. catching a feebas

2. catching a chimecho

3. catching entei and suicune on the first try each in colosseum.

I DID IT!!!!! (Sorry if that's spam, but I'm just so happy) I caught Kyogre! Same experience as when I fought Groudon, but this time, Kyogre was in the Green health, not red! I think I'll name it Railynn, for luck. That's what I always name my luckiest/best water Pokemon.

EDIT: I forgot to mention it was my last Dive ball. I used all my Ultra balls on the Groudon earlier

Lucky events huh? Well, I'm not very lucky in the game, but I'll tell you my lucky events.

1. Catching a Skarmory on the first try
2. Catching Moltres with my first Ultra Ball

That is all I can think of at the moment.

1; My mach bike skidded into the grass on the daycare route. I then encounter Latios I then catch it at full health with an Ultra Ball.

2; I was looking for a female Nincada to breed with my Dustox (wanted a Silver Winding Shedinja), and I found a shiny Skitty! Not even in a swarm! I catch it using one of my many Master Balls (I stocked up, traded them from other games), then proceed to catch a female Nincada. An hour later, I breed Nincada and Dustox. Their first egg hatched into a shiny Nincada!

3; My mach bike skidded into the grass on the Daycare route, only this time I was hatching Beldum eggs for a shiny. I then encounter a wild shiny Poochyena.

4; The egg given to me in Lavaridge in Emerald hatched into a shiny Wynaut!

5; Won the Master Ball in the Lilycove Lottery; Found safe Missingno. 3 minutes later.

6; Using Alakazam's trick in Meteor Falls, I was trying to get a Dragon Scale from wild Bagon. It was the morning of my birthday, and I wanted to have a Kingdra ready for my Pokemon Box. I encounter a shiny Bagon. No Dragon Scale on it, but still!

7; In FR, I encounter a shiny Nidorino in the Safari Zone. I throw a Safari Ball. It breaks free, and "watches me carefully". It continues like this for 6 more turns. On my 8th Safari Ball, I catch it.

8; I was hatching random eggs I had neglected and left in my PC. One hatched into a shiny Growlithe.

9; I was in the Fiery Path, looking for Grimers... In Ruby. With no success, I go to leave, completely forgetting that my Swampert knew Dig. Good thing, too- One step away from the exit, I encounter a shiny Machop!

10; I walk down Route 120 to my Secret Base. During that journey, I need only step on one square of grass. In that square of grass, I find a shiny Zigzagoon.

11; After hours of resetting, I finally obtain a shiny Beldum from Steven- 1:00 A.M., Christmas morning!

12; It takes me ages to catch a Chansey in the Safari Zone. When I finally do, however, it's holding a Lucky Egg!

SHOULD i go through a huge list of how i got EVERY shiny? @_@ Lets just say, the way i encountered mine were just as random as missingno. master

I´m unlucky, but once in battle pike I pass trought it without heve one battle, I started with full healthpokemon and finished with full health pokemon without lost 1PP!
also when training my sneasel, the fist pokemon that I saw was an chimecho.
I saw a shining claydol! too bad it was in battle pyramid... I´ll never forget those yellow eyes looking at me.

just wondering: does someone found one shining wynaut in mirage island as the first pokemon? I don´t know, this came in my mind right now.

These relate to emerald:

1. caught an adamant groudon on first try
2. caught a modest kyogre using a swords dance and false swiping shedinja to do most the work.
3. won 5 gold symbols all on first tries
4. caught a shiny pelipper & wingull
5. hatched a male golduck with flawless hp/defense/speed/sp.att
6. hatched a male roselia with flawless hp/defense/sp.def/speed

99% of my shinies were caught coz I was hunting them. But once I got really lucky. A few months ago I started sapphire all over again and got a shiny torchic on the first try!

I am so lucky that on the 28th battle at the Battle Factory my opponent's Articuno got Quickclaw to outspeed my Tauros and Sheer Cold to hit for a OHKO on me and then got a CH Icebeam on my Gardevoir while I did like 1/3 to it and finished me off the next turn, and then just OHKO'd my golem with a beam. Oh yeah, thats my luck for me..

I think I remember trying to catch Groudon on Ruby with Ultra Balls but kept failing and then capturing it with a Great Ball (or getting closer anyway).

I suppose I'm moderately lucky...

1. caught a ralts with a luxury ball, it was modest natured to.

2. caught groudon on my first try.

3. found a shiny illumise just when I was thinking about finding a shiny

4. caught 3 chanseys in a row at the safari zone, one of them with a lucky egg.

5. caught shiny exeggcute at the safari zone on the second try

6. found a shiny carvanha while looking for the feebas tile, and found it 3 tiles away.

7. found a shiny Bellossom while searching for Suicune in Fire Red.

I can't really think of anymore...

This is weird, but I was supposed to get a Suicune on FireRed. After 3 days of hunting for it, I traded over my Suicune from LeafGreen so that I could look up the pathway for the Suicune on FireRed. Turns out; Suicune didn't exist on my version. And I chose a Charmander as my starter. What the hell... I'll have to type in my Game Shark code to re-meet Suicune. And I do not want to defeat the Elite Four for Round 2... >.<

EDIT: WTF! After I got connection to Hoenn in One Island, Suicune's on the map now. Weird.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention the weird and lucky things that happened to me in the games.

I got a Shiny Feebas (Milotic now on Ruby). I also have a Shiny Crobat, Shiny Exploud, and two Shiny Linoone.

I have several Shiny Linoone in Emerald and a Shiny Sudowoodo.

I have a Shiny Swellow in Sapphire and a Shiny Camerupt.

A Shiny Moltres on LeafGreen. A Shiny Espeon (received the Eevee from Celadon Mansion and it was Shiny, then traded it to Emerald to evolve it and then traded it back.

And a Shiny Arbok on FireRed.

I have dozens of Shinies on Crystal. It's weird you get so much on there for playing over 900 hours

Went to look for Skitty, find a female on 2nd encounter.

Hatch a female Modest Vulpix with flawless defense on 2nd try.

Hatched an Adamant female Phanpy with flawless attack within 2-4 tries.

yeah, that's what I meant... I evolved it soon after since I didn't like shiny Gloom's colours...

-Catching a shiny Rayquaza.

-Catching Groudon with a Great Ball.

-Beating the Pike Queen with a Starmie that had 3 HP left.

I tend to have DemonScythe's type of luck, but I do have PokeRus (found on Emerald while EV training my Latias) and a shiny (Aron, found while training up during a Water monotype run. Oops.) I've also seen a shiny Vileplume in the Battle Factory. On the one hand, I would have liked to catch it just to say that I had, but on the other hand, I would never have used it anyway, so what the hell.

how lucky am i? well lets see

1) never seen a wild shiny

2) took over 40 balls 2 catch groudon and kyogre each

3) took a constant 5 h straight b4 seeing a chansey, then it ran (but eventually caught)

4) tried for 3 months for a shiny kyogre, but gave up

ill take it as im not very lucky
