101 ultra balls ps i caugth lapras with masterball;249-d;

40-50 I think and finaly caught it with a Great Ball.

It once took me, if I remember correctly, over 200 Ultra Balls PLUS dozens of other balls before I finally hit with a Timer Ball.

12 ultras. i feel like i got off easy. i could've gone on for a long time, though. snorlax's leftovers restored as much HP per turn as shadow storm did, and i'd charmed it 3 times so it wouldn't use physical attacks. and starmie just kept recovering.

I just used the masterball, but with my False Swiping/Stun Sporing Breloom I probably could've caught it with a few ultraballs.

First time I played the game, of course I used the Master Ball. It was only in a following save file--in which I left Lugia with Greevil so I could sap Special Defense EV's from it--that I started to experiment.

The Shadows aren't really all that hard to Snag, most of them anyway. I caught Dragonite with a single Poké Ball once.

I used the master ball because nothing else was that hard. I caught almost every shadow on the first poke ball(by hitting it with a LOT of status effects).

I did.

Breloom works wonders with Spore and False swipe. Only took me a few Ultra/Great balls.

Actually, there wasn't one Shadow pokemon I didn't only use one ball on, using Breloom.
