How many elite 4?

isn't suppose (sp?) the elite 4 be only 4 guys? why in the anime and games are different? In the games we can see many in each region. but in the anime there is Lance, Bruno, Prima and Drake. these four are suppose to be the elite four but in the games we can see more. Why? (PS don't answer anime=/games because i think there is better answer)

in the anime its not called the elite four its called Kanto - The Indigo League
Johto - The Johto League and Hoenn - Evergrande League. anyways anime =/ game

no it is called the elite four. didn't when Lance, Bruno, Prima and Drake came they said they were from the ELITE FOUR?

P.S The kanto thing you said is Indigo Plateau, not league (although people just call it league) and the Johto league is Johto Silver Convention. I don't think they are related to elite 4.

The elite 4 are 5 members the 4 and the champion.

It is unknown at the time how the Elite 4 operates in the anime (i'm sure we will one day) but it is safe to assume it is like the games with different regions having their own Elite 4.
