With current commercially available technology, they can make about 10,000,000 more.
Although if they actually listen to a few fan suggestions for game mechanics then I'd be happy to see several hundred more of the little buggers
They'll keep making it till we stop buying it.

Except that they won't interview, hire or train fans unless they live in Japan. We've all heard the saying: If you can't beat them, join them. But if you can't beat them or join them...? Oh well, I'm going to let my creativity run wild anyway. The fans have no worthwhile suggestions. Game Freak and any company that operates in similar fashion in a similar medium know far better than to start soliciting fans for suggestions, something they have zero need to do anyway because that's what you interview, hire and train a staff for.

With the recent gen 5 additions we're up to a total of 500 Pokemon. When we first started we thought 151 was freaking incredible, and im pretty sure that most of us thought that'd probably be it. But to think we now have 500, and will probably passs the 600 mark, is just mind boggling.
So, how far do you thnik they'll go?
Well, I think the count should be around 500.
If it reaches to be too much, it could be difficult for new people.
