How many new Pokemon do you want?

If I remember correctly in G/S/C there were 100 new pokemon and in R/S/E there were 135 new pokemon, so for D/P I would like around 120 new pokemon.

I want the pokedex to go up to 551 or 552, if they add another legendary, like they did with Deoxys. So that would be 165 or 166 new pokemon.

i'd rather have quality over quantity. and then as many as they make
i dont think you can really guess how many, as they havent really made much of a pattern.
people say 165ish, but we don't know how busy they have been. i guess thats why we are making estimates.
its the biggest region yet.
that suggests a land overflowing new pokemon.
i'd want about 250 new pokemon,
but im seeing realisticly it will be more between 170 to 200.

As someone said, 100 with GSC, 135 with RSE, personally, i think with every new generation, there shouldn't be any fewer additions, therefore this game should have 135 new pokémon minimum. Personally, I'd like to see a kind of "never ending Pokédex". maybe 135 new pokémon? then as this generation gets older, Nintendo put more pokémon to download via the Nintendo WiFi? Personally overall i would enjoy 200 additonal Pokémon

160-180 seems good to me. It is the largest region so they would have more new pokemon.

All the older series had a number over the 100's. So this one shouldn't be different. Also whats the point of only a few new pokemon? I want alot of new pokemon because its fun seeing new things and having a new poke team every game. I just dont want a portion of the game's beginning pokedex with the older pokemon.

Personally, I want about 150 or so. Though, I don't think there will be that many. I'm hoping this will be the new R/S/E though, and a brand new everything, if you know what I mean.
