how many pokeballs did you throw at dialga or palkia?

When I caught my shiny Palkia, I used one Dusk Ball at 1/2 health while he was paralyzed. It only took the one ball. It was like it was meant to be.

I used a master ball after seeing what level it was. I had pokemon that were only about level 40.
Thats lucky Im going for shiny Palkia now and I have to say that its alot quicker than going for Turtwig. Lol.

My highest Level pokemon was a Level 39 Torterra with Level 37s on the rest of my team and I caught it with an Ultra Ball.
i got it to 1 hp, then thunder waved it, caught in one ultra ball eayest legendary to catch.
the hardest legendary ive caught ever was zapdos in fire red, i had 50 ultra balls to share with the 3 birds and zapdso was my first, i got it to red hp and thunder waved it, after 50 ultra balls and 12 great balls it wasnt caught. i then threw my last ball, it was the pokeball and i caught it, i was WTF sometimes i think pokeball has a higher capture rate on the sly lol

Off topic: I caught Regice and Kyogre with Pokeballs.
Anyway, DIALGA was a pain in the arse to catch the first time I tried. Cos I was a n00blet at that time only on the 8th gym so I tried catching it on Yellow health. -_-U
I done the same as you did, but replaced Thunderwave with Yawn.

Ah...It took me 3 balls. 2 Ultra Balls and a Premier Ball. It wasn't too hard. I suffered later trying to catch Mesprit without a Master Ball. I got it down to one hp and used dusk balls and quick balls (1 per shot, no Mean Look) I nicknamed Palkia Paru and Mespirit Psydrei.

I CANT CATCH AZELF! I swear when it uses Uproar its harder to catch.
And I swear Premier Ball is the best ball out of Ultra, Great and Poke.

With Dialgia, I threw two ultra balls, and then caught it with a single great ball. And this was after I had almost no pokemon left thanks to Cyrus.
Unfortunately, no other legendary was as easy.

It took me 3 days to catch a modest Azelf. Safe to say i was relieved when i finally had it

I can't catch Mesprit, when I meet it, I tused a hyper ball, it broke the hyper ball and it flew away. What i suppose to do
Use a pokemon with Mean look (i.e. Umbreon) or an Ariados with Spider web.
On topic:
My one sister caught Dialga in 1 Poke Ball without weakening it at all. XD
My other sister used her Master Ball after all her Pokemon except the level 100 shiny Metagross that I let her borrow fainted. She used about 18 Ultra Balls though beforehand.
Use a freagen Dusk ball I caught all three with that. FIrst try. I find that It is easier to capture pokemon if you only use the right ball.

I used about 50-gajillion-mega-million pokeballs (actualy about 30- I may have exagerated). I then tried premier balls and finally caught Palkia. I didn't want to use "good" balls because in Emerald I caught Rayquaza with a dive ball and I didn't want to let my standards slip
