How many times for you?

How many of you received a Shiny starter, Beldum, Eevee, or Lapras, or any of the legendaries(that stay in on place) being shiny? If you have, how many times did you have to turn the game on/off until it worked. I'm trying to get a shiny Torchic, Beldum, and Rayquaza. So, how many times have you tried? And should I even bother?

Yeah, if you want a shiny that bad. I got 1 starter shiny. A Treeko.I kept turning it on and off 45 times. I got really bored.

When you click on the Pokeball on the ground, and it shows the Pokemon's picture, does it show them shiny? Or do you have to wait until you battle?

I don't have any shinies yet, so a legendary or starter would be like, wow, for me

You have to wait until you battle it. I wish it showed you so it would save a lot of time...but I got bored and gave up, so none for me. But I have found a shiny Whismur in Rusturf Tunnel...in Ruby.

Thou must wait thill the fathfull war betewen Rabid Zigzagoon III and Starter the IV

once my friend got a legendary moltres in his FR on his second try so it really depends on luck

None LOL, I can't be stuffed reseting so many times, I lose intrest just hatching one chansey egg. Attention span of a gnat. ^_^

I got a shiny Rayquaza :) took me about an hour of resetting..I guess I was really lucky thought it would take longer...

then again I tried resetting for a shiny Regice...reset for about 3 days..didn't get a shiny so I got tired and gave up.

It's all up to luck..btw I don't understand how people keep track of the number of times they reset? that would just bore the junk out of me..and recording it would waste time I could be resetting.

I've never tried to Soft Reset in front of Pokemon for a shiny. I think it would get amazingly tedious, but when your just searching in grass it's more interesting, because you have no idea what you might find next.

I tried like at least 800 times for a reegice and never got it. I just gave up. maybe I'll try again evenually. It's just soooooooo boring.
