How Many Times?

How many times have JJ&M had the oppurtunity to destroy, keep prisoner or send away the pokemon of the heroes when they actually catch them if they weren't such idiots and celebrate whenever they think they've won? There've been quite a lot.

It seems to be an unwritten rule among villains in general that after a victory they must glout, monologue etc. Thus giving the heroes enough time to come up with a plan to stop them.

Or right before the villian finishes them off. (That's the reason why, as Naruto Uzumaki once said, heroes always show up at the last minute.)

Yes, but I was looking for examples of how many times those three have had oppurtunities to get rid of the heroes pokemon, rather than send them off.

Most of their machines also have the potential to destroy the pokemon they want to catch, which they sometimes attempt.

One example is in A Six Pack Attack when James sucks up May's pokeballs. They could have decided to leave the three pokeballs never to be used again or turned Skitty, Beautifly, and Torchic into their slaves.

Of course, this one is noteworthy - it's the only time that they blew their chance to escape because they were too busy getting drunk.
