How old were you when you got R/B/Y?

I was 5 when I first got Red version.

I got Pokemon Yellow when I was about 4 or 5 years old, along with my yellow and blue Pikachu-skinned Gameboy Color. Believe me, back then I know how to use gadgets already! \^_^/

I bought Pokemon red at KB Toys at my mall with a few ones and a plethora of coins I had saved up when I was 12. The clerk was far from happy with me, but I stood there just over the counters edge with a huge smile on my face and a sparkle in my eye.
