I think contests in D/p should have a new classification for contest moves: Scary! Currently, there are only five: Cool,cute,smart,beauty,and tough. These are all bland and cliche. I mean, cute and beauty are pretty much the same thing, and they are all positive. We need something negative yet impressive like scary. Now, each one could have a counterpart:
Cool.......Smart
Beauty....Tough
Cute........Scary?
It could happen, I mean take a look at Harley. He's so good in contests yet all his pokemon are creepy/scary. Plus, six is an even number, so if there is an idea for tournaments that require a champ of each category, it would work... What do you think?

That doesn't mean anything. Pokemon were given a gender when traded from R/B/G/Y to G/S/C. Pokemon traded from FR/LG and R/S/E will look different when traded to D/P. So, What's changing all the types that become Scary, or whatever, when trading over? It won't be confusing.

Well, they changed fire spin from the R/B/Y games and made it weaker, and they changed bind as well. And like someone mentioned, genders were also added. So it is possible...

They started it already, might as well go along with them and hopefully make them better for next gen.

It would be certainly interesting as I prefer coordinating to battling but it probably wouldn't happen.

Exactly. If you don't like contests, don't do them.

I think this is an interesting idea, and I would like to see it implemented. I saw contests as an interesting diversion from battles and I could easily see a new type taking contests into the next generation.

I must disagree...

If there was a "Scaryness Contest", then that would mean any Ghost, Dark, or any Pokémon that knows Scary Face and Mean look would be a total shoo-in. There's always the 2:1 ratio that these afforementioned Pokémon will easily get 5 hearts and 5 stars even with low Contest Stats... -.-

I don't like the idea. The contests we already have are good enough, and they would have to come up with a new pokeblock flavor and color( most of which have been used) and more berries for us to memorize.
