Ouch, that pointy chin could hurt someone.

The hair could be at least a little bit more defined, I mean, look at the way the hair is going --> and then look at the hair on the face, it hasn't migrated that way -->

Head band - well, lets just say, we don't wear them diagonally, nor would they be that small, look at Naruto, he has a nice thick band, that sits horizontaly on his head, not diagonally.

Also, hair should be over the band.

I have a sorta feeling that this is not really an Anime face, but sorta a american try-hard go at anime (no offence, its just an opinion).

Any other things to point out?

Being a critique, I would rate this a 1 1/2

Actually i think he meant that it doesnt look like a "true" anime, and that it looks more like those cartoon style shows that are kinda anime'ish. Anyways its not that bad, but it could be better. Cuz if this is a tutorial u always should make it look good, so that the person readin the tutorial can have something to admire or in other words have inspiration. Cuz if i was beginnin drawin ( i am not a beginner, i just dont have a scanner or anything so i cant post my art.) anime and i looked at the tut, i would probably say" Well i could learn some basics from here, but i would rather learn from another tutorial so that i can be even better." Ohh and i think the tutorial should be more detailed next time, cuz it kinda feels rushed (very rushed actually), take it more step-by-step so that people can learn better.

Understand wut im tryin to say, im not tryin to be rude or anything im just givin some C/C.

Where in the heck did that come from? Dark Dragonite wasn't even talking about sprites, kid. Get your facts straight.

As for the tutorial itself: it's not good. Even the facial outlines are out of proportion. Basically, I think you might want to take a few tutorials yourself and practice on those until you are good enough to make your own tutorials. Learning to crop pictures helps too, like you can crop that white space that takes up nearly half the picture itself.

Is it me or do we share the same views???

Same comment as his.

In fact I wouldn't follow tutorials at all. They get too complicated and you struggle too hard. I tried em and ended up making my drawings too stiff. try draw real life things and the applying it to a cartoon/anime character. That's how I did it. Also do quick rough sketches and get the fundamental form basics. Forget details til end.
