How to Evolve Scyther to Scizor in XD

Ok I need help I can't seem to evolve my Scyther into Scizor In XD I've tried giving it the metal coat you get from snagging Magneton and it hasn't worked

So does anyone know how?

Firstly, you can't evolve it until you beat the game, so make sure you've done that.

What you need to do is either trade the Scyther, equipped with a Metal Coat, between XD and a GBA game. It should evolve on whichever game receives it. If that doesn't work for you, I assure you that trading the Scyther from GBA to GBA will work.

Beat The game Then Trade

Becuase If You Know, You only can Get a Scior or Steelix by doing teh fallowing

-Attach metal Coat to either scyther or Onix
-Then Trade them with Metal Coat then they Envolve!
