How to get Eevee friendly?

Today, on my Crystal game, I got a Eevee. I want it to evolve into Espeon or Umbreon, but it takes forever! Do any of you know how to make Eevee friend with you in no time or fast? Thanks in advance.

Leveling it up, giving it haircuts, giving it vitamins, and walking around with it (IIRC it takes 5120 just to get 1 happiness point, so I wouldn't rely on this one). Leveling it up is the best way, it gains the most happiness like that.

No it doesn't, it gains the most happiness when it looks delighted from getting a hair cut from the younger brother.

What I did was have the Eevee I got from Bill mate with a Ditto and kept giving the Eevee haircuts from the haircut brothers. But I would save before the haircut and if Eevee didn't look delighted from the haircut I would reset and try again. I also gave it all the vitimins I had and took long ways to go places I wanted to go to.

i just battled with mine and i didn't let it faint. 1 of mine tried to evolve at level 22 but i didn't let it. i wanted an Umbreo lmao.

You can give it haircuts.You could level it up but make sure that it doesn't faint.If it faints then you will lose some friendship.There is also Daisy(Gary's sister IIRC) that has tea with you and your Eevee to gain friendship.Also you could use items like the vitamins.

i would just take it to goldenrod city every day to get a hair cut and then talk to the one girl over by the bike shop (i think she is in the house by the bike shop) and when she says it looks really happy, it must trust you a lot then just battle someone until it gains a level and it should evolve. i'd go with umbreon
