How to Get Good at Voltorb Flip

Yeah, I figured out how to do the Voltorb Flip game after several tries when I first got the game, but usually I don't feel like thinking that much so I only play it every once in a while. It would be nice to get a Porygon eventually, but I usually die at level 4, 5, or 6 'cause I miscalculate, guess wrong, or just get lazy.
