How to Kill a Breloom.

It's just something I wanted to do because I was bored. As we know, Breloom is a "bishie", and not the good kind. With Spore and Focus Punch, it's one of the cheapest non-uber Pokemon ever. I was thinking of ways to counter it, and I found a use for the Pokemon Banette.

Think about it:
1.) Banette's At power is unusually high for a Ghost.
2.) Flying attacks are always physical (why? I don't know. I guess it's easier to group all attacks of the same type as physical or special.).
3.) Banette is an Insomniac.

Therefore, a Banette with Hidden Power Flying is probably the best anti-Breloom out there. It can't be put to sleep, and Fighting attacks are useless against it. Thus, Mach Punch or Counter won't hurt Banette. All Breloom can do is run away with his club tail between his legs.

If Breloom wants to fight back, try HP Ghost as its last move.

I don't think you know what a bishie is. It's like something you love, like, etc. Like mine's cleffa.
And if Spore Punching is cheap, than subPunching must be too. >_<
On the contrary, spore/subPunching is a very good strategy.
Aerial ace always pwns a breloom, almost everyone knows that.
I don't get the point of this thread...

Sounds useful on countering it and all. Even so a breloom is preety weak in defenses and has a double weakness to flying. Just have a chesto berry attached or a lum berry or something and 1 hit to a breloom and its usualy fainted.

Aerial ace owns breloom, just about every time. I think even if it's un-stabbed.

Also brelooms top speed is only 262. Thats not very fast. Its fast but not super fast. So spore isn't a huge threat.

i have a breloom which i use all the time, its speed beats most, and it survives aerial aces off sydneys absol no problem, it normally destroys all of sydneys and glacias pokes no problem

I donno if it would work well off top of my head but Crobat could wreck it. Last I checked it could outrun it, it gets STAB'd Aerial Ace and, well.

Its a cool poke. Not used near as much as it should, because he's a fragile one, but its COOL.

Every flying attack will KO Breloom with ease. I don't see it as a very cheap Pokemon, SporePunch is a good stategy but Breloom isn't that fast.
