How to pronounce Pokemon...

How do you pronounce Pokemon? I always say

Po-KAY-mon

while everybody else says

Po-KEE-mon
Po-UH-mon

People, you just don't get it! It's not pronounced po-KAY-mon, po-KEE-mon or po-KUH-mon. It's po-KAY-mohn. Long "o" like in "mow", not like the "o" in "mom". People these days have no respect for the Japanese language. >__>

But really, the most correct out of the ones Gamesfreak listed was po-KAY-mon.

Thus, Po-KAY-mon.
Though, when I say it, it comes out like poh-GUH-mon.

However, I say it very fast, so it actually sounds like I'm saying: Po-KEE-mon instead.


In fact, the two pronounciations, Po-KAY-mon (said very fast) and Po-KEE-mon sound so much alike, that I think it's basically the same. LOL. XD

I forget which way they pronounce it in the anime, but I pronounce Pokemon the same way the characters on the show do. ^^o
