hey everyone there have been many people who have purchased fake games so heres a little guide to see if your game is fake first here is my story...
well one day i decided i wanted a pokemon emerld game and i was looking on thne internet i saw one on www.amazon.co.uk and saw one for £14 so i orderd it and it was fake so i orderd one off of www.gameplay.com for £24.99 all offical and is being used for my shiny treeko hunt !
ok so here are the ways to tell if your games are fake ...
1). if the game cart is black or grey it is fake allthugh most fake carts now are the same shade of coulor such as my emerald was a dark green
2). The sticker will NOT hav the shiny effect the real games have
3). the game cart when put in the game boy will stick out a bit more than usall games
4). if you look in the slot were you put your game on a real game there is a strip saying Nintenod (R) etc but on a fake game you just have the little data strips this is a real easy way to find if your game is real or fake just look under the cart and if it does not have a nintendo (R) strip on the data strips it is fake
5). on pokemon games such as myn with emerald when you go from the menu it will say something along the lines of ' the game data will now be loaded ' ' the game can now be played ' this means it is fake if it says 'the initall battery has run dry ' this does NOT mean it is fake it is just saying that the batteryin the cart has run out so the first quotes mean the game is fake
so there are 5 easy ways to tell if your game cart is fake just rember you might see cheap games on the internet from places such as amazon or e-bay but there very likely to be fake so just either go to trusted sites such as game.co.uk , gameplay.com or play.com (sorry im in the uk hav no idea of any usa game sites ) and get a real game
i hope this helps people
