How would you rank all of the shows leagues (gens 1-7) in terms of "prestige"?

10k is more than all the participants in all the Pokémon Leagues in the anime

When "participant" just means "expressed an interest in participating" as opposed to "passed a lengthy screening process that required traveling around the region in question", 10k is pretty low.
Hell, if those 10k are spread fairly evenly around the world, it's pretty unrealistic that Satoshi manages to bump into as many of them as he does. There shouldn't even be a guarantee of there being a single participant in all of Kanto.

Uuuhhh...I don't even remember that someone mentioned that the PWC had 10k participants. Even in the imagine explaining the ranks, the Poké Ball rank was 1000 and lower.

It was right there in ep 18 when they were explaining the PWC. There was 10k participants at the time that was continuously increasing.

I don't even consider the Alola tournament to be a real " league " so I wouldn't even rank it with the others. Same with the Orange Islands.

Think in terms of it'd be Kalos >= Sinnoh > Hoenn > Johto > Unova > > > Kanto

I see. However Ash mentions over 10k, but we don't know how much above the 10k (I think is between 10k-20k otherwise Ash could mention a bigger number instead of 10k)

No.

We literally see the number in the ep. It was around 10200 or something and went up to around 10400 as ash was looking at it.

Twilight-Kun

Pokemon World Champion
Guzma battled with his own power and his own handicaps and still gave a champion a run for his money, destroyed a Mary Sue, and taught a real league-goer how to battle correctly

Kukui got shanhai'd by a god and still lost

Guzma would've mopped the floor with Kukui

Pikachu Fan Number Nine

For the reason of being the first league shown I would say the Indigo League is the most prestigious.
