How would you start a quest in the Pokemon series knowing it's limitations and traditional approach to game design?
Okay I'll start off! You, the player character find yourself running into the city full of maybe ten NPCs running around getting to work similar to Castelia City. However among the running NPCs is one particularly strange NPC standing apart from the rest. Let's say this city is pretty cold and this NPC is wearing summer clothing standing apart from the others who are wearing winter clothing, strange right? So you go ask the NPC and the NPC suddenly talks back to you... like a ghost. Then! This NPC disappears, leaving behind a clue. It's not just you who witnessed it. Another random NPC claimed he witness too and didn't know what he saw. Thus begins your quest to solve the mystery of who that person was. Is it a ghost? Was it something else? Who knows! But what a way to reward a SPOOOOKY quest to the very thorough Pokemon fan am I right?
