Hub Speculation

The whole create-a-character mode would be pointless now if a Story Mode isn't in this game (we don't know that there is or isn't one), so I was wondering if this game would let you actually walk around the Battle Revolution Island/Park? Unlike in the Stadium games (and Colosseum's overworld map) instead of just placing the cursor over the destination you want to go and being taken there, maybe your character can travel around the hub and actually interact with others? You have to go from one arena to the next manually?

Lol I pointed that out to a friend earlier funnily enough. I'm hoping that place that's revealed is just a place you can go during/after story-mode to battle/train, like Battle Frontier. I hope there's one facility like Mt Battle, that was an excellent way to level up.

Ctually if it was a story mode they would have probably created a default sprite for that. If its the stadium mode then I dont want to walk around, that would slow me down when I want to battle

It could still be cool, like the hub of a MMORPG or semi0MMORPG (Phantasy Star Online). For those who don't want to walk, maybe have a train to take you to your destination faster.

If I can't walk around, I'll be pretty ******. Hopefully, it will have SOME RPG aspects to it, because the stadium games where good and all (and some Wiimote minigames would be awesome), but I want an RPG. All its gonna do is make is so we can battle on wi-fi, but make it pretty... Grr...

The story mode would likely be like Pokemon Colliseum so I would prefer that it be a Pokemon Stadium follow up instead. :/ Honestly, I loved Pokemon Stadium. Pokemon Colliseum, however...

I think the Pokemon RPGs are better suited to handheld.

The neon Pokemon city/park thing is beautiful though, it would be awesome if you got to walk around it.

We don't know that it won't be as of yet... they could be keeping certain details about the game secret on purpose.
