I would love for my Kingdra to learn Hydro Cannon. Does anybody know if they can later on learn it? Like maybe in Diamon or Pearl?

HADOUKEN!
I doubt it highly. It was exclusive to Blastoise and only in FR/LG

Besides Hydro Pump and Surf are tons better.

Your sig pic is too big.

Welcome to SPPF!

This belongs in the RSE section but I'll answer your question. First max out its happiness, then take it to the old lady on Island 2. Then it should be able to learn it.

Edit: I'm probaly wrong. Yes, Surf is much better.

^ and ^^^ Remember Totodile and it's evo line can learn it too!

Two Surfs are way stronger than a Hydro Cannon.

Two Surfs (STABbed) = 285 power.
One Hydro Cannon (STABbed) = 225 power..

See what I mean? And Kingdra can't learn it, Blitzkrieg

Hyper Beam isn't very good on Slaking anyway, a Return has more accuracy and Power, and more PP!

Don't cheat, it's bad!

You can't get Hydro Cannon on Kindra, like a few others have already said.

Slaking can use Hyper Beam, then take a break on the turn it's Traunting. So it ain't that bad. And you can always give it a PP Max. I wouldn't, though. I don't use Slaking. *shock*

You said that Return is better on Slaking than Hyper Beam...or at least that's how I interpreted the message.

What's Return's average ATK power, anyway?

i think it depends on how much your pokemon likes you but its 100 accuracy. It works great with my flygon. i don't like slaking but i'm pretty sure he has a higher attack then flygon so i would agree it is better to have Return rather than hyperbeam. Isn't Hyper beam accuracy 70%?

Hyper Beam is 90. That's pretty good, but it always seems to miss on life-and-faint situations for me...T_T

I think Return's average ATK power is around 70. So 2 "average" Returns is still weaker than 1 hyper beam, but in 3 turns, Slaking can do 300 ATK (150 x2), and only 140 (70 x2) if it doesn't like/hate you that much.

Hyper Beam/Hydro Cannon etc. is gay (as in stupid moves)

If the Slaking had full happiness, then Return would have 151 power, 15 or 20 PP I think, and %100 accuracy.

153 power/20 PP

World domination!
Indeed impossible the only ones that even can use it: everyone with metronome and squirtle evo line and toto evo line. And the elemental beams could be used as a last resort attack.
