I can't catch anything!!!

Guys, it's incredible, i know, but i have tried to catch a Lv. 16 Skarmory plenty of times, leaving it sleeping and very weak, but in all the great balls i throw it brokes free...

Suggestions?

For skarmory, it's pretty much immposible to catch it, except with a master ball or time ball. Trust me, once I threw like 16 ultra balls at one with low healt, then on my LAST timer ball I caught it...

I just traded mine from XD so I didn't really notice. Skarmory is preety weak anyway so its not a huge lose and you have plenty of chances to catch one.

^^No, it depends on HP, status conditions, kind of ball but most of the time, it can be luck.

And in the safari zone? Without the posibility of weaken the pokemon, and with high levels...

Safari Zone-Pokemon that were crept closer to make them easier to catch but more likely to run away.

I used to weaken it to about 1/3 of its max HP with Quick Attack, then throw about 5 Great Balls. So, they're not impossible to catch.

I put them to sleep,or paralize them,then throw an ultra ball.

You're just unlucky.That's all.Try to give it a Status condition,lower it to red.You can also lower its stats.That will also make it easier to catch.

just keep on trying! sometimes it depends on luck!
you can catch a pokemon on the first try or else it could take up to your very last pokeball

I've always thought of pokemon that are heavier in weight; make it much harder to catch. I've always seen that's the case when I try to catch rock & steel types.
But that's just my speculation. Skarmory is hard to catch for me all the time.
I simply use as much Ultra balls as desired. The time will come.. eventually. :]

Okay...this is weird. But I didn't even weaken it and I threw a Pokéball and caught the Skarmony on my first try =D I was bored and decided that a level 16 Skarmony won't harm me anyway, so I didn't even bother to weaken it XP

You better dont trow only Ultra balls try the buy 5 great and 5 ultra balls weak it til its red and switch between the balls liek great, ultra, great, ultra because if you trow several times the same ball its breaks out by on time shaking the ball

i never really use a skarmory but you most defidently don't need a master ball t's weak and pathetic i sugest useing a timer ball if any but i caught mine witha pokeball save you master ball for latias or the other depending on your version...
