I can't get no shinies! :(

I've had my sapphire for 2 years and i've found only TWO shinies on the same file for 2 years,and one of them I lost(reason in sig). I've even used 3 different gamesharks on it but still no luck on lingering side effects to affect the odds of finding one.Compared to some people,I feel quite unlucky.I know the odds of finding one are slim, but compared to some members on the forum,it is just plain outrageous!My friend has played the games longer than me,and he has never found one EVER!HELP ME!!!!!!!!

There is no way to increase or decrease your chances of finding a shiny. It's all decided by a bunch of factors in the programming that I'm too lazy to talk about right now .

Point is, just keep playing the game, and maybe something will pop up. Try and keep your mind off shinies. Maybe watch TV? I got my shiny Porygon while watching TV.

There are no shinies in r/b/y

Just shiny hunt while doing something else. It's easier on the mind. I found my first ever shiny Spearow a few days ago while surfing Serebii. I've been searching for shinies since Gold and Silver first came out. It all depends on luck.

yeah what they said, do something else while searching, but for the love of God keep your sound on, if you look down and just noticed you fainted a shiny and it's because you didn't notice i'm sure you won't be happy just listen for the sparkle, hehe

its all up to luck i found 2 in one sapphire game and now i restarted it i have 185 hours on it and 220 on my LG but i havent encountered any
