I chose Dodrio over Salamence

I love Salamence, but I used it so much that I want to try something new! So I checked out some flying types and found one of my favorites that I never have used before and it does have some impressive stats, I'm talking about Dodrio the three headed birdie!!

Does anyone have some info on it? So far the best attacks I see with this thing are -

Drill Peck
Tri-Attack

Does anyone know a good moveset for a Dodrio?

if you use the second set, be sure your HP isn't evenly divisible by 4.

I like the first one most, but I think I would want to use Tri-Attack for a bit before using Return.

Well, when your Dodrio likes you enough, Return is the better option. And obviously its easier to use Steel Wing than it is to breed for a good HP.

I've personally never used Dodrio before, I usually stick with Pidgeot, but Dodrio does seem the better option.

dodrio > swellow > fearow > pidgeot. for the physical sweeping normal/flying-types, that's pretty much the hierarchy.

The best reason to pick Dodrio is the STABed Enduflail.

For the Evs, you could have about 136 Spd evs to out run most things before Salac, and everything after, the standard 264 Speed (Which is 112 Evs), or 252 Speed. imo, go for the 252 Split, because its defences aren't going to allow it to last too long; even with the extra HP. Always have 252 Atk, and put the rest into HP.
