I Don'T Get This:USB

well,kinda silly question,but wherever you look it says that you can connect to Wi-Fi at home via USB.Fact is,I normally connect via LAN.So why does everyone say USB and only USB?

The USB refers to the USB dongle that you can buy which plugs into the USB point of a computer to allow you to access the Nintendo WFC, it's the easiest method to play online so Nintendo promote it more. Otherwise you can connect through WLAN (I think that's what it is called) to a wireless router
