i dont understand...

ok, there is two things that i dont understand:

1- I was EV training my Ho-oh, i trained him with sp.at and speed, but then when i see the pokedex here in serebii.net, i noticed that ho-oh has good sp.def, so i wanted to fix my ho-oh EV's with my Tamato berries in Emerald, and so i did, when i finish giving him the berries i looked at his stats, and the speed stats was reduced 46 points! (from what i know, EV only gives 32 points in a stat, after the EV training my ho-oh has 186 in speed, after the berries he has 140), what happened?, does my ho-oh now is weaker or what?

2- Can someone tell me exactly what is this thing about the colloseum erasing the Emerald saved data?, because im afraid of connecting my Emerald to my friend pokemon colloseum.

Its +63 on any stat... You're thinking wrong about +32... Don't worry lol!

You gaveit the wrong berries. Tamato berries reduce speed in Emerald. Use Hondew Berries.

I have been connecting my Emerald game to colosseum and nothing happens...my game is still alive. Where did u hear this rumor?

Dont bother the heck about the silly rumour for number 2.

Have you finished your EV training before you gave the berries? Mostly likely you did for special attack, but partially for speed.

Read the first post carefully. He wanted to erase the speed EVs, therefore tamato was used. He wanted to train it in special defence, but that is another matter..

ok, the colosseum thing its just a silly rumor after all

one last thing, do you think i should leave my ho-oh with sp.at and speed, or sp.at and sp.def (what would you choose?, also, i noticed i didnt complete the EV training for the speed, thats why it give me 46 points, im going to be more carefull from now on)

I would go for special attack, but ill split the rest of the Evs between Hp and Physical Defence. I do this for my kyogre, since my kyogre can calm mind to help up special defence, but it cant do anything for defence. Anyway Ho-oh already has great special defence, might as well boost the weaker defence.
