*shrugs* If you're going to post a fic here, get ready for criticism, because it's hard to avoid. Not everybody is going to like your story, and there's no way around it. If you're not ready for the reviews, both good and bad, I'd advise that you just don't post it.
But really- so what if you don't get any reviews? So what if not everything you hear is sugar and daisies? Will it really affect you in real life? Will it really hurt you?
I sure hope not. If it doesn’t, you shouldn't be here.
But if someone tells you that you can improve, and they tell you how, then listen. You can get better by listening and following, believe it or not.
What you want to do is your own choice. You can't control what others will do or say, but you can control the way you'll react to it.

if you like your story enough you should post it but beware of Yami Ryu's postings becuase they hurt very badly. i've got a fic out and all i got were two flames and bashes and i'm still going to post the story so don't take notice of the flames and bashings unless they hurt you badly.
Yeah I can handle certain harsh reviews! I have had many people flame my sites and other things and I took them without a care. I cannot take criticism where the reviewer just completely insults me thought.....I lose it and start flaming him back and it just goes on and on..... in fact Im having a flaming war right now! 
One thing I notice about my fanfics is that they sometimes lack in details and colorful words. If I edit my story more, i could fix all these. And I think all the people at that site are just lazy! There are like 35 on everyday and nobody gets reviews (I know cause I asked a fellow writer and he said I was the first reviewer hed ever gotten in 7 months of being a member). ^_^"

Yami Ryu yells at the people who deserve to be yelled at. From the looks of your grammar, I'd say anything you received was probably deserved. That's how Yams works. Follow the rules, listen to your reviews, and she'll be happy. Do you know how many people listen to those of us who are blunt and don't sugar-coat everything we say?
Almost nobody.
We get no respect, and frankly, it gets on a person's nerves when they are ignored and flamed for trying to help others. You want her to stop getting mad at you? Do what she says.
The harsh reviewers are often the ones who are right. You're best off listening to what they say, and not replying with flames. Like I said, that sort of thing results in bans.
Posting a fic has its downsides, like I said, and you had better be ready to face them if you're going to post here. I suggest you do some heavy editing for more than ten minutes before posting, because here, anything written in under ten minutes is usually crap, and will be called just that.

Flaming won't solve anything. Unless your problem is you hate SPPf- in that case, the problem will be resolved by you getting a ban.bluwirz said:

i didn't mean it badly Psychic but it's true. i write my fic in Microsoft Word so the grammer is good instead of internet engrish so that does that mean i deserve it or anyone else. heck she does it to people who write PERFECT grammer. but she does it to a lot of people who just put a fic out and that won't help them get better it'll make worse.

Perfect grammar =/= good fic. A good story isn't all about grammar. A good story has an interesting plot, good, well-developed characters who have thoughts/emotions/personalities, description and good visualization that doesn't look like it came out of a textbook and multiple other things. Having just one of those is nice, but you have to combine them all to have something good, interesting and something people will want to read without worrying about flaws.
From what I just saw of your fic, I wouldn't want to read it. It isn't appealing to the eye, since not only is it just one big block of nonstop text, but the lack of description and personality makes me feel like I'm reading a history textbook.
You got what you deserve. Yams was angry because you kept ignoring what she told you, and when enough people flame you and ignore you, you start to get a bit touchy and angry. Put yourself in a reviewer's shoes.

Well if you read it you would know that it WAS A RECAP!!! For those you HAVEN'T PLAYED the games. The next chapter is the starting chapter. and i think i once saw her flame a story with all of those traits with perfect grammer but i might be wrong. and that's my opinion of her.

I just dont want anyone to be super harsh and say stuff like "you suck" or "this sucked and so do you." Thats why im in a flaming war right now with this guy. I posted an advertisement for my forums, and he posts and starts insulting me and my site with very BIG details. So I decided to stand my ground, and protect my site from being flamed. I just got the news that I won the war today. He apparently quit saying he doesnt wanna fight children. Which is funny cause before he posted that, I challenged him to a site making contest. lol chicken! (getting off topic, huh?.....ill do that sometimes.....)
But yeah....I hate super flaming. Just plain hate it.

Posting "you suck" without a valid reason is against the rules for it's just pointless flaming.
Then again, posting "you suck" with a reason to say so why you suck is just plain rude. Hasn't stopped anyone here though!

If you keep cool under those reviews though and actually take their advice, then the reviewers will respect you for being mature and won't flame you, even if your fic isn't the best work here on the forums.
