I have a new idea!

[Hero of Legend]

As Pokemon Gold/Silver introduced Shiny Pokemon, Diamond/Pearl should introduce... EX Pokemon!

They could either be obtained randomly in the wild similar to shiny pokemon, but 10x rarer!

Or, at the end of the game when you complete your Pokedex, and have the maximum amount of money, you can go see a special tutor, and you pay them the money, and he'll turn a party Pokemon of your choice into an EX Pokemon!

An EX Pokemon, is a Pokemon with the maximum possible stats, think of the maximum stats a specific pokemon can have when it has a certain personality, where for example, Speed Deoxys with a Naive personality can have a speed rating up to 504!

But all it's stats will have that maximum amount, regardless of DV or EV values!

It will also have a special symbol, similar to the gold star for shiny pokemon, but this symbol will be a silver "ex" symbol, just like the TCG!

And the pokemon will have a special aura of some kind, to physically differ it from normal Pokemon, and you can have a Shiny EX Pokemon, IF YOUR THAT LUCKY!!!

It may happen, but would that be cheating for People to have a super Pokemon like that? I wouldn't think so since you have to pay a unimaginable amount of cash, which could take weeks or even months to earn without cheating, and also, you can only get one EX pokemon from this tutor per save file! I think that's fair!

I beseech of you to visit this thread for further ideas.

Anyways, this won't happen for several reasons:

1. Firstly, it is ridiculously easy to max out your funds. Heck, I used to do it all the time while my SP was still functional.
2. These Pokemon would eviscerate the metagame and use its entrails as a lasso. The G/S/C metagame, which essentially employed this, was a staller's paradise; should this be implemented I'm sure the same terrible metagame would rear its ugly head again.
3. Max stats in every stat regardless of whether you put any effort into breeding or EV training is too much for which to ask when it comes to getting some strong battle Pokemon. Besides of which, it doesn't exactly take skill to beat the E4 over and over again.
4. The TCG deviates from the games even more than the anime; I don't see a quirk from that realm entering the games anytime soon.

While it wouldn't be considered cheating by my definition (and that would be using an external device to enhance the game), it would be darn cheap to use the products of this enhancing in competitive battles. ;[

You're right. TradingCardGames are completely different from games and others.

The thing you're talking about, the EX pokemons, will make the game easier and boring. I don't really like to have a strong pokemon with all stats maxed out.
