The only way you can trade is if you purify them and then they can be traded.

you can't because shadow attacks, pokemon, and everything were never programmed into anything but colos and XD, and there's no way to purify them is R/S/E/FR/LG.

you just cant trade shadows. says so in the xd booklet, that ought to be enough.

You can't trade shadow Pokemon to FR/LG/R/S/E. You'll need to purify them first.

Yeah, purify then trade. Even if it seems cool to have a Shadow Pokemon on another game, it's just not possible.
