I have a question...

Well, okay, it's a n00bish question, but it's gotta be answered.

I've got a multi-part series going on called "Gamz," and certain episodes take place in the Pokémon world, while others are in the Metroid galaxy, etc.

But a majority of them take place in the Pokémon world. For those episodes, should I place them here in the Pokémon-related fics boards (some are already completed), or should they all go into the non-Pokémon board?

Well, you can't really post an episode by itself. And if its a Pokemon/Metroid crossover (meaning both fandoms are in it) it can go in the pokemon fanfiction or non pokemon fanfiction section - based on whichever fandom is more present. Though probably, I would put the whole thing in the pokemon board, as I'm pretty sure things with pokemon in them can't be in the non pokemon fanfiction board.

Well, I mean episodes, like, episodes, not chapters. Each episode has its own chapters. Like, for example, one episode is all about confronting Giovanni, another could be assisting Samus Aran in a Metroid-y fic, and so on.

Friendly POKéMON.
It looks like you have a number of chapters, divided into episodes, and each episode documents a different part of the main plot. Or am I off?

The answer to your question would depend on which is more prominent to the plot. Is the main character Pokèmon, or is it driven by Pokèmon-related reasons? If yes, your fic goes straight to the Pokèmon board.

what he means is that each ep is like a fic unto itself.....

right?

Exactly. For example, the first episode (apropriately called "The Beginning") explains how the main characters first got into the mess. Then each episode after that is basically like like the Pokémon movies. They don't necessarily happen right after the last one, but take place some time afterwords (like weeks or so) so that I can come back later and fill in the missing details.

Okay, these are the episodes I got so far, in chronological order, if that helps anyone understand better.

The Beginning (Pokémon)
The Blood of the Chozo (Metroid)
Discovery at Shamouti Island (Pokémon)
[unnamed Mewtwo fanfic] (Pokémon)
[unnamed Digimon fanfic?]

I don't know about that last one, though.

I'd have to say yes to the second question, so therefore the majority of my fanfics are indeed Pokémon-related.
