I just checked my Pidgeot's IVs...

Attack: 31
Defense: 31
Sp. Atk: 26
Sp. Def: 31
Speed: 31

I just can't BELIEVE IT.

And my Rayquaza:

HP: 31
Attack: 31
Defense: 30
Sp. Atk: 31
Sp. Def: 31
Speed: 26

That's cool and all, but it might not be accurate if you don't know your Pokemon's EVs.

My shiny Armaldo's the same way. I have no idea what its EVs are, but without them, almost all of its IVs are flawless.

HP:31
Atk:31
Def:26
Sp.Atk:13
Sp.Def:31
Spd:31

Its IVs were something like that o_O

Yeah, you'd better remember about your EVs. Otherwise your Pokemon will have higher stats than it's supposed to in an area and the calculator wil automatically declare the IV as perfect or near-perfect.

Of course, this is not to say that your Pokemon's IVs are impossible to get. Just that you are very lucky if you calculated them accurately.

If you don't enter any of your effort values, all of you IVs will be perfect... but maybe yours really are perfect.

i don't lose
odds are against those being accurate. you probably simply don't have the EVs inputted, so the stats are higher. the HP IV is clearly very, very low as it is still 22 even with no EVs. the others are probably above average-impressive, but not oustanding/flawless. if you have emerald, use the EV-reducing berries to get all of the EVs down to zero and then recaculate it and let us know if they're still that high.

a friend of mine has an umbreon with 4stats ivs 31 (atk/def/sp.def/speed) and the other 2 something like 16 and 23
i recommend u using metalkids iv calc (metalkid.org),cause in serebiis calc if u insert a too high number it says its iv31...in metalkids it says: invalid

i bred like 3months for it

my ampharos (modest too)

and has hidden power as i wanted it to be (grass 70 yay)

i told my bro to soft reset for a regice with quiet or modest nature with some good ivs...the first one he caught was:

31 in atk and def

etc....

. yeah i dont know what they mean and all so whats good about 31 I have heard it's like near impossible to get but whats so good about it? and how could a rayquaza have that low of stats? I'm a noob :(

a lvl100 rayquaza with 0 atk IVs has an attack stat of 305
while one with 31 atk IVs has 336 (31 difference)
its the same chance to get an IV of 7 as getting 31 xD
and its near imposible to get any IVs u imagine (like: hp 20 atk31 def 24 sp.A 5 sp.D 17 spe 29 <-----near impossible to get exactly these--->all ivs 31)

so a salamence with 31 atk ivs would do a bit more damage then one with 5

You could evolve it if you wanted to.

I checked my shiny Pidgey and shiny Skitty's IVs and Pidgey has flawless special defence and Skitty has flawless attack! I didn't check with the IV caculator though, I checked with the old man in Emerald.

ScytherIsAwesome your Pidgeot and Rayquaza have great IVs.

I would reccomend people read the fifth section in this Probability Thread. Any combination of IVs are equally likely. However, I will agree that if you are going to brag, you should assure us that you factored in your EVs, since that is a common mistake, and will throw off your calculations.

They aren't talking about the STAT. They are talking about the IV, or "Individual Value" They are like Pokemon genes, and they affect stats. 31 is the max, it is not impossible to get, you have a 1/32 chance of getting a 31 IV per stat. For more information, check out the Official IV FAQ thread
