Ok, I took Ditto and Jynx to the day care ladie and went outside to the old man and he said "they seem to get along". Now here is the part that is weird, I got one egg, then a couple minutes later, I got two more!!! I highly highly highly doubt there will be a shiny but I don't know until they hatch!

1st egg just hatched. However, I don't expect a shiny in the other two eggs. The just hatched smoochum is not a shiny.

The same thing happened when I bred my Jynx and my Abra. I might do some research into why this happens when breeding Jynx.

Sometimes, it takes ages for Pokemon to lay eggs. Other times, they just flood the Breeding Centre. Nate did not expect the sudden influx of Smoochum eggs, that's all.

Getting eggs does not have a specific amount of time. It depends on the number of steps you make and after so many steps a probability is calculated.
Since they liked each other you had a higher probabilty of an egg being produced and thus got a higher chance of gettin eggs quickly

Today I was putting ditto with jynx, and the same thing happened to me. After i left the two alone, I sailed to vermillion and went on cycling road to wait for eggs. Then, i went back to 4island. I picked up my egg, and went to a pokemart to get some ultra balls. I came back out, and the man was standing there again! After, i picked up the egg. before my jynx laid any more eggs, i brought it back and stored it in my pc. no i'm trying to hatch them.but i know it's weird that jynx lays eggs, but ALL (exluding legendaries) Pokemon lay eggs even if they look like humans, or dogs ect,.
