That's not bad at all...Not bad at all...The Delibird is VERY cute, and seems quite accurate from what I see...a couple of flaws though...

The bag is probably one of the major flaws in this pic...it looks like hard plastic in a sense...I suggest that you add some folds in the bag in order to convey 'depth'...and even in a cartoony picture like this, a sense of realism. My only other issue would not be the background itself, but the choice of colours...the bright turquoise throws everything off...it's clear that you know how to blend colours properly, but the turquoise doesnt really fit the same...'hue', per se...I understand what you were trying to do, but it seems a bit bright and overwhelming...

Excellent work overall...As they say, simplicity sells...you definitely made it work.

EDIT: Just another note...looking again at the shading on the Delibird, seeing as you have such clean lines(grr...), it probably would have been a better option to go cell shaded, using rich, solid colours as opposed to soft shading...it fits better with the style of the picture in my opinion...

EDIT2: I just checked your DA and you have a tremendous amount of potential...I'll be keeping an eye out on you...

The Delibird lineart isn't mine if you didn't already know. I figured people would see the coloring contest up at the top and the title of the image on DA, along with the sig on the lower left corner. I asume you didn't know that since, you're stating to add folds into it, which would be kinda hard to pull off without changing the lineart itself. o.o As for using turquoise, I was playing around with my colors, and on paper, it seemed to work. I stuck with it since all the other shades were a bit dark for the sky. Anyway thanks for the comment.

Pretty Nice. Not bad at all. I'll be keeping a lookout for you art, and make sure you do them well. Delibird's pretty nice, IMO.
