...and for that, I don't ever think I will beat the Battle Frontier. Some examples are like if the opponent uses ONE accuracy lowering move, I will miss like a third of the time, and all their attacks always get me (more on this later). And status conditions like confusion, attraction, and paralysis seem to work a GREAT deal more against me than against them. I was once paralyzed for SEVEN turns IN A ROW. And another time, I stayed frozen for TEN DAMNED TURNS. TEN. And what happens when I get some luck and freeze them? Right. They defrost before the turn even ends.
Some of my best examples of my horrid luck are against Venamoth. I want to MURDER Venamoth. You may think Venamoth may be no problem to take down, but when you are as unlucky as me, it can take down your entire team(which it did twice). Lets see...on the first turn, I send out my Blaziken. Venamoth used sleep power. Blaziken fell fast asleep. Venamoth used Psybeam! Critical hit! Blaziken is asleep. Venamoth used Psybeam! Critical Hit! Blaziken is asleep. Venamoth used Psybeam! Blaziken fainted! Stigy sent out Slowbro! Venamoth used Sleep Powder! Slowbro fell fast asleep. Venamoth used Silver Wind! Critical hit! Venamoth's Atk, Def, Sp.A, Sp.D, and Spd were raised! Slowbro is asleep. Venamoth used Silver Wind! Slowbro is asleep. Venamoth used Silver Wind! Critical hit! Slowbro fainted. Stigy sent out Snorlax! Venamoth used Sleep Powder! Snorlax fell fast asleep. Venamoth used Psybeam! Snorlax is confused! Snorlax woke up! Snorlax hurt itself in confusion! Venamoth used Psybeam! Snorlax hurt itself in confusion! Venamoth used Psybeam! Snorlax hurt itself in confusion! Venamoth used Psybeam! Snorlax hurt itself in confusion! Snorlax fainted!

Ya...so thats what basically happened both times I versed Venamoth...

Tell me about it...Battle Fronteir is freaking annoying. I spent hours training up the perfect Breloom (well, almost), and when I got to use it, it sucked. I gave it Spore to put the enemy to sleep, so I could use Focus Punch the next turn, but EVERY SINGLE TIME the Pokemon woke up while I was using Focus Punch, so I failed miserably each time. Also, most of the Pokemon has Arial Ace which 1HKO'ed my Breloom most of the time. They have a lot of luck...

The computer has the most luck, in The BF its like each pokemon has the ability serene grace which promotoes added effects, like AI seem to inflict a status condition more often,.

Most of the CPU trainers don't use that strong of pokemon. Heck, I've seen a Lv. 100 Torchic try and own my Latias. Didn't work. The hardest team to beat would have to be Annabel or Tucker, round two. They use strong ubers, there is no hope of trying to beat the Dome Ace's Latias withuut some strong pokemon of your own. Breloom and Slowing, for example, are relitively weak compared to the ubers and semi-ubers. Metagross, Latios, Latias, Suicune, Milotic... countless pokemon, if trained right and have good movesets and Stat balences, will be able to conquer the frontier easily. However, in the Factory, it is based on luck.

The pokemon I hate most are Water/Ice types. Lapras and Walrein, with their HP and Ice attacks beat my Latios and Latias, then their Water attacks sweep away my Metagross. A Lapras once Sheer Colded and Horn Drilled all three of my pokemon after using sing.

well, most people don't use lati@s in the battle frontier, and those who do usually use the ones with horrible IVs caught running around hoenn, not the good southern island ones. since latis and wobbuffet are the only ubers allowed in the battle frontier, they do tend to make it a lot easier.

off-topic, by the way, it'd probably be even easier for you in the battle frontier if you used snorlax or lapras instead of a lati. both are extremely effective at walling water/ice type attacks, since lapras has water absorb and a 4x ice resist, and snorlax has uber SDef and HP, as well as thick fat.

It all just common haxing. It'll always be there. It can be stopped however, or shall I say, you can overcome it. With the right training, and a little luck, anything's possible.

I have bad luck too. It seems that I'm always getting screwed over in the Battle Palace. One time my Swampert's Ice Beam missed a FLYGON three times in a row. It's accuracy was never reduced and Flygon didn't have on Bright Powder. I was one win away from facing the Brain too.

I know, when I was againts Anabel, all of my attacks missed! So I had to restart the whole thing over again

Too bad, life's not fair. :p

Seriously, it is not fair, critical hits also give the computer unfaIR ADVANTAGES, i WAS 2 MATCHES FROM A CHANCE FOR A SYMBOL, AND THEY CRITICAL-HITTED ME AND BEAT ME. v_v

tHAT IS THE CHALLENGE OF IT...

Gah...I'm never gonna get enough battle points to get Endure. Partially because the luck thing keeps screwing me over, and partially because you seem to only get 1 BP for each challenge. Mega Kicking Granbull with perfect attack EVs, and just enough SP. Def ones to prevent a OHKO from Alakazam.

Then a damn double battle in the Pike. Alakazam and Glalie. That zam goes on a damn Thunderwave spree, whilst Glalie's endure works every SODDING TIME. And then when all my Pokemon are too weak to do anything, bloody Glalie FREAKING EXPLODES. Snorlax survives with 8 HP and in the next battle I get Breloom Iron Tailing him to death.

Guillotine hits every single time too...weird.

Not to mention Focus band ALWAYS works. Seriously...once I can handle, but when it stops them from dying six times in a row, it's taking the mick.

That's My Rule!!!
Maybe the reason why you are so "unlucky" is because you haven't maxed out your Pokemon's EVs enough. Sounds reasonable to me. If your Pokemon doesn't have enough EVs, then there's the reason why the Frontier Brains get even more of an unfair advantage over you, when they already have an unfair advantage in the first place. :p

I agree with Potato, to me the CPU looks like its cheating, It can go through my team like it was a magikarp. This is why I only take on the Battle Frontier if I have nothing else to do, don't know whats the point

Battle Frontier is hard, really hard, but you need to be even stronger than them. Ordinary trainer use weak pokemons, when they use a Salamence, it has terrible moveset.

Only the frontier brains are a bit stronger.

and for your breloom flying type moves are extremly bad because of fighting and grass it is like haveing a 1.5 more power over you because you doubled on its weakness for example a gyarados flying and water electric would do the same thing

slaking with slaking has over 300 attack poinst at level 100
yawn
focus punch
facade
earth quake
and good defence give it facade so you can use the status problem to your advantage
slaking is more of a physical pokemon so give it only attack moves
