Well, I believe this is the right section for this. Anyway, onto my actual thread.

Everyone has an ipod, an Ipad, or an Iphone. I am no exception. However. Im totally tech dense, and can not figure out how to get my ipod to latch to my laptop.

It was synced to an old laptop, which is now long dead and gone. Now, I want to sync it to this laptop. It gives me the option, but when I do it says I can not as theres a song that it wants permission for. I have previously bought said song (on a cd, that is now also long gone), so I have purchased it. I do not have an Apple account ID however.

If any tech wizards or apple genuises know what my problem is, or how I can delete that one song right from my ipod, much help would be appreciated.

Mods, if this is the wrong section, please move it instead of locking it :D

All it sounds like you need is an Apple account. You cant sync or Download without one.

I actually lost everything. And Im just using my girlfriends account for now xD. But. I cant get apps. Im on a stoneage style ipod. It doesnt even know what the internet is xD
