...to pick up Colosseum and complete it. I close to the start of the game, I gave up the first time because I got bored of the game being so slow.

I have Ruby and Colosseum (got with my GameCube, the special package). I recently read a thing about Pokemon Box and realised it would be worth using it soon. Then I got thinking about Colo'. I know you can trade between R/S and Colo', but is it worth me playing and completing it for?

I will leave it up to you to decide whether it is worth me playing it again or not (reasons would be nice :)).

Extra info:

I don't know anyone who I can trade/battle with/against.
I only own Ruby and Colo (although I may purchase FR/LG and/or Emerald soon).

Colloseum is pretty good in my opinion, my first Gamecube game. I beat it fair and square :D

Yes, you should beat it. It's such a convenient system to train and gain EXP on (once you're done EV training). I don't know what I'd do without it. Of course you really can't use it for your GBA pokemon until you beat it...

There are some really nifty pokemon available in Collosseum, too.

Thanks guys! I've started playing it again, and I've just reached Agate (sp?) city, paused half-way through my battle with Hitmontop (which will be mine soon enough). I hope there aren't any that you only get one chance with...I usually reload if I kill shadows anyway, but I'd like second chances!

I think what I enjoy about Colosseum now is seeing all of the pokemon I miss from G/S/C, not because I like or use them, but because they are cool.

Plus there's the fact that I will be able to trade over a nice team including Houndoom and Ho-Oh (when I'm done)!

EDIT:

Question...when I get the masterball, should I trade it over to Ruby and save it, or do I need to use it on [suggestion here]?

you can use the masterball trick (use masterball with 1st poke. 2nd poke switch masterball with say great ball. Masterball is thrown but no balls disapeer.) and then trade it to ruby

Arriving glacially.
Hey guys, can you help me with something?

I recently restarted both my XD/Colos to get Suicun,Ho-oh,Entei,and Lugia, all with good natures or REALLY, REALLY good IVs. But I am having trouble deciding which one I should play first. Although I am farther on My Colos than on XD, I think XD is a much better game.

WHICH ONE SHOULD I DO?

Play Colosseum first, the graphic is a little worse than the one of XD, but the story is much cooler than the new one. ;)

How's my team doing?

Mt. Battle training, just got the Flute (and used on Entei because I got annoyed with it taking so long).

Ampharos - Lv 35
Thunderbolt
Cotton Spore
Thunderwave
Thundershock

Misdreavor - Lv 37
Psybeam
Confuse Ray
Mean Look
Shadow Ball

Espeon - Lv 38
Psybeam
Swift
Reflect
Helping Hand

Entei - Lv 40
Sunny Day
Leer
Bite
Fire Blast

Umbreon - Lv 37
Bite
Secret Power
Confuse Ray
Snatch

Hitmontop - 40
Agility
Focus Energy
Triple Kick
Rapid Spin

I know there's not much I can have done at this stage as I've barely had any chance to give pokemon new moves or TMs (not used any TMs yet), but what do you think of how I'm doing? And how far should I raise my pokemon in Mt. Battle before carrying on the story? 5 levels? 10?

I'm currently getting all of my pokemon to level 40, at which point I will decide to raise further or carry on, depending on what you think is the best way to go.

L40 isn't too bad for the next part.

Spoiler Alert:

Ciper Admin Venus
Vileplume, L44
Steelix, L45
Delcatty, L45
Banette, L45
Suicune (Shadow), L40

Main boss of the next section after Entei. All of her pokemon know Attract, apart from Suicune. Banette and Steelix are male, Delcatty and Vileplume are female. Net Balls work marvellously well here, for snagging Suicune.

Excellent stuff. This is what I want, good advice from people who know what they are talking about to guide me through the game a bit. I know a fair share, but the advice is appreciated.

I'm assuming net balls can be obtained from the outpost, where other pokéballs are purchased?
